13 Nov We are looking to champion the unsung heroes that volunteer in Torbay
Thousands of people help make a difference to hundreds of organisations across the Bay, but they often work behind the scenes and no matter how hard we try cannot be celebrated and thanked enough for what they do.
So many events would not take place and lots of groups and organisations would not be able to survive without their efforts. It is that simple.
We want to be able to tell their stories and will be writing about them for a weekly column in the Torbay Weekly and interviewing them on a Riviera FM programme that will broadcast each Tuesday from 10am to 1pm but we need you to tell us who they are.
If you have a volunteer that you would like to feature, then email [email protected] and we will arrange to talk to them.
They may even qualify as one of those chosen to take part in a glittering celebration which we aim to make an annual event starting next year.
