The Community Partnership provides an opportunity for the local people who live or work in Cockington, Chelston and Livermead to discuss issues of common concern and influence the way in which services are provided in their area.

There is also a group in the area called The Cockington Forum, which was reformed in November 2006 and brings together residents, businesses and other organisations with an interest in Cockington.
