The main priority of the Funding Advice service is to increase the flow of funding to the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector through an increase in grant applications and the establishment of social enterprises and other innovative approaches.

Our Funding Service runs regular funding and advice forums, regularly posts news and opportunities that are available in the area and works with organisations to secure funding.

ADVICE

We provide a FREE service to help develop and support groups to submit their funding bids. We do this by reviewing draft applications before they are submitted. We also look at previous applications that have been unsuccessful and identify probable reasons they’ve failed; or submit bids on behalf of groups who don’t have experience of doing so. We work closely at all times with the fundraiser so they can learn from the process and develop their skills and knowledge to allow them to write successful bids in the future.

HOW WE CAN HELP

“I am really grateful for all the support that I have been given from TCDT, it really has made the world of difference from getting it up and running in the Ageing Well festival to rebooting last year! I believe that we are making a positive impact in the community and hope we will continue to do so long into the future. Many, many thanks again for all your support!”
