24 Apr Torbay community groups invited to take part in VCSE sector survey

We have been asked by our colleagues from Devon Community Foundation to take part in a survey which aims to paint an authoritative picture of the entire voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay, which will be updated every couple of years.

This is for community groups who are NOT registered charities or social enterprises. You could be an informal voluntary group, community association, local society, sports club, faith group, or peer support group.

Your input is hugely valuable since there is no robust available data on the number, nature and focus of unregistered voluntary organisations in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. This means their huge social value often goes under-recognised.

The survey is completely anonymous, ought to take 5-10 minutes to complete, and can be found here: Devon’s VCSE Sector 2025 Survey.

If you are linked to more than one community group, you can complete the survey for each group if they wish to do so.

Please share this link with any groups and/or individuals that you work with/know of, and it would also be really helpful to encourage them to share it forward. You are encouraged to complete the survey by Monday, 5^th May 2025.
