03 Mar TACKLING THE COST OF LIVING IN TORQUAY – COMMUNITY MATTERS

Our local Community Partnership is pleased to extend an exciting invite to residents of Watcombe, the Willows, Barton and Hele. Join us at Barton Baptist Church meeting rooms on Saturday 4 March from 12 noon – 3.00pm for our community event: TACKLING THE COST OF LIVING, TOGETHER.
Find out, help out and have fun! The cost of living is a concern for all. Come along and find out how we can support each other at a local level in our neighbourhood. We have inspiring speakers, plus amazing information and advice stalls with practical tips to take away. The entertainment will be fabulous too – with Torbay Lego Masters to entertain the kids and the Out of Tunas sea shanty singers!
We will be serving a free buffet, and entry to the raffle is free too (with some prizes donated by our generous local businesses).
Interaction and information on food cooking and growing; skills and time exchange; make and mend schemes; energy saving; volunteering and good neighbour programmes; warm spaces; local business offers; local community group opportunities…and much more! Let’s make positive change happen.
