NURSES from across the world who all trained at Torbay Hospital have made a donation to the Torbay Food Alliance.
Jane Watson, president of the Torbay Hospital Nurses League led a group that handed over a cheque for £200 to representatives of the Food Alliance who run the Bay’s food banks.
The league, which hosts a reunion at the hospital every year, represents more than 200 nurses who have trained in Torquay since it was set up 77 years ago.
