The Big Give is partnering with the Environmental Funders Network (EFN) to launch the Green Match Fund campaign for the fourth year, designed specifically for charities working on environmental issues. This is an opportunity to make an extraordinary difference to some of the biggest challenges facing our planet today.
The campaign aims to raise £10 million for the sector over a period of 7 days between the 18th-25th April 2024.
The campaign will see the public’s generosity multiplied, as donations to the participating charities will be doubled by the Big Give’s Green Match Fund, which has been supported by generous ‘champions’, typically philanthropists, foundations or companies.
Eligible charities must be working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. This may include biodiversity & conservation; climate change; agriculture & food; sustainable communities; energy; transport; trade & finance; consumption & waste; toxics & pollution. Charities may be working in the UK or overseas and are able to use the campaign to raise unrestricted funds.
Deadline: Applications from charities interested in participating are now open until Tuesday 16th January 2024
