05 Dec Join the festivities coming to Wellswood

Hello everyone!

Christmas is coming and our Christmas Street Fayre, on Ilsham Road, is going to be Christmastastic!

We have an exciting programme for the whole family, on the stage, starting at 5pm and ending at 9pm, wonderful children from Ilsham School are opening the programme by singing with Ilsham School Choir. Andy Young is singing jazzy Christmas songs with vocalist, Lea Millman, making up the dynamic duo, Leandre. Don’t miss Sam Massey’s sensational Jazz Trio with trumpet, keys and bass and please come and welcome our talented Ukrainian Singers again. David Williams is bringing his wonderful Angels and Mavericks choir and our Master of Ceremonies, illusionist and magician, is the amazing Anne George! Look out for the marvellous Mark Poulton’s Puppet Show on the street and Santa’s Grotto at John Couch estate agents. That incredible fire-eater is returning with Gary’s Pirate bar, The Velvet Buccaneer and you might even see a Flashmob! You could even join in, so get ready to ‘Do Your Thing!’ We are also hoping to hear the joyous carol singers from St Matthias again at the top of the street, there will be lots of charity stalls and craft stalls to buy those last-minute Xmas presents and remember to come and make a Sock Snowman or lady with us at Torbay Communities! We might even break our record of making 50 this year!
