Small grants are available to registered charities and individuals across the UK to enable people with a disability to take an active part in gardening and other leisure activities. The Trust awards small grants to charitable organisations and institutions all over the United Kingdom in order that they may continue to garden despite advancing illness, age or disability whether mental or physical. Typically, grants can be used to pay for:

  • Raised beds
  • Polytunnels
  • Greenhouses
  • Tools
  • Small-scale garden adaptations (for example, access pathways)
  • Plants and shrubs, and;
  • Compost

Grants cannot be used to pay for fencing, gates, seating, clearing, general ongoing maintenance, turf, or tree removal.

Deadline: Applications can be made at any time.
