Grant up to £5,000 available for voluntary and community organisations to run innovative engagement activities to support uptake of the COVID-19 vaccination in Devon where uptake of the vaccine has been lower than in others. The Covid Vaccination Outreach Fund has been set up to support the vaccine outreach model during the Autumn 2023 programme. This includes Gypsy, Roma and traveller communities, homeless people, migrants and refugees, people with a learning disability, neurodiversity or severe mental illness, unpaid carers, pregnant women, and ethnically diverse communities. Activities could include drop-in events, communication support materials, employee time, workshops, and necessary equipment to run the activities etc. Voluntary and community organisations and charities can apply. This could include faith groups, food banks or other organisations working with the target groups.
