17 Mar Volunteer: Call Handler for Torbay Community Helpline
Do you have one morning a week to spare? We are looking for volunteers to answer calls to the Torbay Community Helpline.
Our call handlers help 100’s of people who need support with mental health, housing, food, domestic violence or just some simple advice on how to find a reputable tradesman.
You would work from home. Full training and support is given throughout. General computer knowledge is needed for the role and we would ask for a minimum of three hours a week.
The benefits of volunteering can last a lifetime, not only for those you are helping but for you too.
Make a difference in your community.
Develop new skills. Social support. Rewarding. Fun. Sense of purpose. Meet new people.
If this is something you can help with, please contact 01803 446022.
